I think that ultimates should return but be hard to get. Keep a challenge in there so it’s still prestigious to have one but it’s a lot healthier to get them because you can do it at your own pace.

An idea that was brought up years ago now was that you have to complete every spirit of a season to be able to buy an ult in orbit, and I still think that’s a really good idea. Like playing the season again but harder.

if you have few items from the other spirits, they cost A LOT, but the more items you get from a season's spirits, the lower the cost becomes
whether they cost hearts or candles or ac is another topic
