I agree with melon, if there's no difference on how much you like both then the one with better job prospects might help you in the long run, having to choose and wondering if it was the right decision is hard but you'll never know until you take your time on it, talking to people and making connections to those on the fields might help make your mind as well
I'm in a complete opposite rn where nothing interests me so many my words lack the experience of feeling like this, i hope you're able to get an answer you won't regret

i will say if i find a good company like tgc, moving around to different roles isn’t impossible. for example, ktjn started off as a community manager and is now a designer, which are both exactly what i would look at. so the opportunities aren’t too limited even when i choose one pathway, definitelt starting to think design now bc the degree itself has many chances for choosing a pathway. in the second year it has that IT/Creative split that allows for you to choose a more accurate learning experience for what you desire

the thing with this is there is definitely luck involved, but there are also the choices you make that determine what your luck can give you. doing your degree may not be enough, but equally you could get good luck and land a good job if you meet good people doing the degree. not doing the degree minimises your chances of doing things the degree gives you the opportunity to do. it will of course mean you end up with a different variety of options, not all of which are bad because again, you may be lucky. but it's not a case of "doesn't matter what i do the outcome will be the same". you can't determine where you end up in life but you can shape the options life is likely to give you.

honestly, i was very skeptical about fully going for anything game related until i started talking to some devs a bit more and being more active with the beta program and the community in general. i was very convinced i was gonna go into tattoo artistry for a few years until i got fully back into sky and helping the game itself
