With the new season I want to show off my Evil sky kids concept: The servants of Eden. The darkness' attempt at fighting fire with fire, these servants are complete opposites of sky kids. They are cruel beings of void and darkstone with their purpose being to spread the darkness throughout sky.

As a game this would be a copy of sky except at the end of levels you fight the elders, in titanic boss fights that ramp up as you get closer to the Isle of dawn.

First concept fight: Vault elder
Unlike the future bosses the vault elder is passive, they simply stay put and watch the player. The real obstacles are the spirit mantas patrolling the area and protecting the elder. The goal of this fight is simple, fly into the glowing point on their chest. There are also platforms scattered around the room that recharge the player's wings and are safe from the mantas.
Once the elder is defeated their light fades as you go on to the wasteland.

(I also want to mention that this game technically takes place at the same time as regular sky. Though at a time where sky kids are asleep or something. It's a sort of fun take on why dark plants keep regrowing and elder cutscenes are always about relighting them)

Yes infestation is a negative word, but when using the word I meant it as a joke. When you talk about an infestation you usually mean that for example Bugs have got in your house and they are hard to get out. And I joked about having some sort of “Skykid infestation”
