Why is it so hard to be on schedule with this Drawtober thing O)-<

I've always been quite the loner so my idea of friendship is very shallow. Have a group of Sky children on a vacation, setting up camp.

I also turned these characters into Sky OCs!
RAPTOR - everyone's big bro with the green cape, whose charisma is almost hypnotic--he can be a smooth talker with a sense of humor when he wants to be. Wears Season of Rhythm items.
JIFFY - the child with the layered cape, who is disciplined and well mannered, although socially awkward and a loner as a result. Wears Season of Enchantment items.
GLORY - the heart of the group with the summer cape, who is super soft like a mother, but also super violent like a blood knight, when triggered. Wears Season of Sanctuary items.
ANGEL - the brains of the group with the purple cape, who is so uptight and stuck-up, it's so funny when he breaks character. Wears Season of Prophecy items.

hello! as you can see in the art below I based the spiders off of the mask from the earth prophet! here is some lore I have for them to
light:
these spiders spend they're whole lives transversing the realms of sky and weave elaborate murals of what they see on a tapestry that's draped over the back of the spider. they are very curious creatures and try to see everything possible, some sky ancestors believe that they wherever the inspiration behind other murals scattered along sky, while others believe that the murals are from the spiders themselves. but the spiders are long past and no one knows for sure...

these spider spend they're whole life attacking poor unsuspecting people. the red fang like simbols on they're head looks like a nice warm flame then that's when the spider gets you. the spiders tend to stay at one central "nest" for most of they're lives, how the ancestors haven't been able to pinpoint these nests and get others to stay away is a mystery but maybe we can help others stay away from these dangerous creatures...

But then he discovered that they had to leave—to go back to the Light.

The pain of parting may be unbearable, but still, he holds them dear in his heart with neither contempt nor regret.

I conceptualized a Sky OC who lost his family to Dark Creatures. I dressed my Sky child as that OC when I watched the Season of Belonging ending cutscene. Oof my heart! O)-<

I usually don’t draw Sky fan art in anime style (unless when I'm angry, want to showcase my meticulously honed art style in this server, or when drawing something about Vettore's stage dramas like "Legacy" and "Sky: Three Cycles"), but the Sky OC in question was inspired from an anime character. I wasn’t able to make the character show through in this artwork in the end, but oh well!

I like to think that whatever attempt at technological advancement destroyed the Sky Kingdom, the Vault Elder is sickened by it, but alas, her warnings fell in deaf ears, and she couldn’t do anything but to avoid it out of contempt, and protect the knowledge of the Vault with her life for the future generation.

The Spirits in the background show my idea of a Season featuring comparatively futuristic designs marked by minimalistic, rigid, and angular cape designs. I thought such Season would be perfect for tackling technological advancement in the Kingdom and the subsequent downfall it caused.

Don't tear it up! even though it may not look as you had hoped, you should still keep it.
As you practice art, you slowly but surely refine, improve and change your art style. When you keep old work- no matter how awful you feel it looks- you can look back on it in the future and see how far you've progressed

Back when I started to play sky, I tried to get my real life friends to play sky too. Most of them didn't take much interest into sky, but one of them did. We played together a lot. We went through eden together, we did seasons together, we did candle runs together. We played a lot together more recently due to the whole thing going on in the world. Then suddenly google doesn't let me update and I try everything to get back into sky, as it was the only contact I had with this person outside of real life. I wasn't able to get back in and I still can't even after trying everything I could think of. (Troubleshooting, contacting Google support, etc.) I miss playing with her, she was the only one who bothered to try sky out in my small irl friend group.

This happened earlier today with me and a friend of mine
The trials grew in difficulty, that's for sure.

Hikari watched in slight amusement as her newest companion moth, Roxana, tried to complete the end of the earth trial. The two went through the water trial, which was a time as Hikari watched Roxana's lack of patience repeatedly got to her.

But Hikari had to give Roxana credit: She may not be patient, but she was persistent. They were so close to the end too. Just one final set of rotating blocks.

Hikari sat at the other end, watching Roxana repeatedly fall into the void below, with each failed attempt bringing about a slew of rather aggressive honking.

A random kid comes up to Hikari. "New moth friend?"

"Yeah."

They chuckle before leaving to complete their trial.

Hikari chuckled before looking back in time to see Roxana just barely miss the platform.

Hikari and Roxana eventually return to the Central Cave, with the former completing her trial and the latter forfeiting. As the doors slide open, Roxana takes a few steps forward, before tumbling down and faceplanting in the ground below.
"Maybe we'll try again sometime later." Hikari calmly suggests. 

All she gets in response is a tired, broken whine.

Tried to keep it vague as possible, but muse spoke immediately after I completed my trial

Hikari knew that the air trial wasn't going to be easy, if the earth trial's jump from water was an indicator.

But this was quite a leap. Literally. At the time, she was a part of a small group of... she wants to think six or seven?

She was among the many, many people who before had either slipped, had been blown off, over shot and undershot and fell into the surrounding void.

Hikari was admittedly exhausted by the time she completed her trial. Returning to the main cave, she could hear some yelling. People were chatting about their experiences with the new trial it seems.
She herself just listened and tiredly spoke as she sat down and let her bare feet soak in the water. She wasn't walking anytime soon.

(Scenario from “SKY: Three Cycles” Act 3 Chapter 4 - To Break the Cycle)

“Zwai! She’s luring the Dark Dragon away from us!” Noin exclaims. Twei grabs his arm tightly to prevent him from flying off. “Don’t be stupid! You’ll get yourself killed if you come after her!” Noin persistently struggles to escape her grasp. “I don’t want her to get hurt! What kind of friend will I be if I leave my partner alone in a danger zone like this!” Twei is rendered speechless by Noin’s utmost sincerity, but she simply can’t let him go. She promised Zwai to take him to the Vault of Knowledge no matter what happens, and she’s sure to break her trust if she lets him die in this forsaken graveyard one more time.

Twei gets so caught up with keeping Noin beside her that she fails to realize a Dark Dragon is coming in from behind her. She looks around in a panic when she hears the Dragon roar, and the next thing she knows, someone shoves her hard as if telling her to get away.

Zwai stands before them, bravely blocking them from the Dragon’s sight. “Twei, get him out of here while you can!”

Noin tries to move closer to her but Twei’s grasp is preventing him. “No Zwai! You’re coming with us!”

Twei drags him away, flying off to the next hiding place. “Noin, the Dragon already has its sight on her. We’ll go down with her if she comes with us!”

“No… No no no—”

And then the Dark Dragon screeches. Twei and Noin watch the monster zoom past overhead, like a predator escaping with its kill.
