Yesterday, a friend of mine left Sky and Discord. I figured this was the best way to remember her.

Dear M,

You were my first friend on Sky Discord. The first conversation I remember was the one that I had with you. I didn’t know anyone else and you included me. Later, I knew of your leukemia diagnosis; you were a fighter and believer. Before you announced your departure, you gave away your hearts and sent us a light on Sky— thank you for always thinking of us. After you went offline, our friends shared wonderful yet bittersweet stories about you as we reminisced the times we spent together (include ugly crying). The Table Gang, comprised of an egg, a rat, a people, a toe, a goose, a Dozen, a Meganos, a Val with an ever-changing first letter and many more lovely humans miss you deeply. The voice channels echo the music we played together as we laughed oblivious to fate. For anyone in the Sky community who shared a moment with M/Cheese/Chmeese, I hope you will not dwell in sorrow, but look back at the memories and smile at what you had.

You live forever in our hearts. We pray that you will overcome the trials of life and hopefully, return one day. May we meet again in Orbit, be reborn together, and embark on great adventures as Children of Light. I'll see you again, but not yet, not yet...

You were one of the first to welcome my arrival to the wholesome Sky community when I first joined Sky discord months ago. It was only until recently, we got to know each other more.

I have been aware of your health since you once stated that you’re going for chemo at the official Sky chat once, but it was until just now that you have finished your journey and decided to go to orbit earlier.

M, I had tons of fun with you back in our among us shenanigans a few days ago even though you killed me every time we meet in the map. But that’s alright, the laughter and memories were what that made the skykids grow closer together.

M, if you arrive at orbit someday, please wait for our arrival. We can tell you stories about our travels, share the remembrance we had for you, and we can enjoy the tranquil reunion together before holding hands as we, the table gang head off to reborn together.

Funny story VI: I'm... not good at drawing spirits at all. Especially that this is supposed to be them when they're alive. Anyways, as I was drawing, I had a thought going through my mind about this... what if they talk to the birds alone as a getaway? Like running away from stresses of everyday life or... Some story about a Skykid (I think writing can be put in here? Idk really, please say if I have to delete it!)

I was always told light was dangerous. But obviously it's just some fairy-story made to scare the kids. Look, I've seen people with these things (capes?) find people made of light, and then hug the light. It can't be dangerous.
So I became a wanderer. I left my hometown, I journeyed to a place called 'the isle of dawn' seems cool, right? I collected light, made friends, even found my very own cape and flew!
Everything was great, I'd ran away from that dusty old house to find my true purpose in life.

...But now I know what they meant.

I'm hiding as I write this. I will probably be fatally wounded or dead in minutes.
Because everything has an equal opposite.
Light is beauty, but light makes dark. Dark is horrible and murdererous and vile. Dark wants to take my soul.
And dark is right in front of me.
Please, don't follow me. I've sent this note out of experience, and I don't want others to get harmed - which they certainly will.

So here's the description of my dark creature inspired by the concept art krill. I call it the Maw. It is approximately as tall as 7-8 sky kids, it is also shown to be capable of reaching the size of a krill. Studies have shown that the Maw can grow twice as large, but it needs to grow in a place with a lot of space and full of food to eat. Despite its size it is shown to be agile, outrunning a sprinting sky kid. However, it has poor eyesight so the maw relies on smell and touch. Recent studies have shown that the maw is capable of lifting it's front part of the body with it's arms (research is still being done). It's main way of consumption is by chewing its prey, it prefers to eat anything emitting light but can also consume other dark creatures. Sorry for the huge text wall I just wanted to get this out of my chest.

Her pose was supposed to be inspired from the Rolls Royce flying lady mascot, but I forgot that and inspired her pose from the Valkyrie princess on the Odin Sphere art book cover instead. All I remembered was I wanted their body to be leaning forward in flight.

(Scenario from “SKY: Three Cycles” Saga - Manta Ride Race)

“Wooaaahhh!” Arriving at a sunset lit cliff facing countless ancient buildings buried in clouds in the distance, Sieb gawks in awe. Her inner Light screams that her destination is in the other way, but she thought it wouldn’t hurt to take a break and enjoy the Valley of Triumph for a while. Besides, it was this stranger-now-friend who dragged her into this place, so he probably knows the way to the next area better than her.

The scenery is suddenly enhanced by passing mantas of all kinds and sizes, coming from below the clouds and around it. “This is amazing!”

“Woah wai—!” As the mantas sing, Sieb’s new friend, still holding her hand, dives straight into the clouds below, dragging her with him. “Aaaaahhh!!!”

And then the troll lets go of her hand as he gets a hold on a manta, leaving Sieb to fall further while he is in the comfort of a manta’s back. “What the krill?!”

Furious, Sieb breaks her fall and surfs through the clouds, searching for a mount better than the mischievous Child’s already huge quad wing giant manta.

Soon enough, she reemerges from the clouds, riding a colossally big fat thirty winged elder manta, utterly outclassing her so-called friend’s mount. “Take this, you trolling piece of crab!!!”
