Lil mood painting doodle!

a bit of story behind this one: i was grinding for the last bit of candle wax so i could get the fox mask and i was stuck in the middle of the golden wasteland fighting with this huge bunch of darkness, and then this little capeless fellow shows up, honks, pops out a table, and gestures for me to sit. they say their name's virgil and they're playing through the whole game capeless as a challenge and i thought that was heckin cool (might try that myself tbh). i tell em about my predicament and they offer to help me out, so they took me to the entrance of ||the office|| , which i had never been to before, and they did this neat trick with a table and a kid with one of the capes to get me in. the candles in ||the office|| were enough to get me to 36 and i even got to see the place in person for the first time. i went to thank them for their kindness but the server split before i could, so i did this little doodle and figured i'd post it to the discord on the off chance that virgil would see and know how much i appreciate their help. arguably the best experience i've had with this game

i seem to be late to the art party a lot but here are some call logos, a krill call and a broken/cracked call!
the broken call was from a dream from a made up spirit subcategory called “charm spirits” and they were tricky and dummy hard to get, they would appear during the season in pairs of 4 in one world (broken call was in the last area of forest ((with different terraforming)) and went into a long burrow ((||like the juggle emote!||))) they would only be there for 4-5 days and would require seasonal candles to complete
its safe to say i found out too late and i couldn’t get any of the spirits :((

@floral furnace No worries! I just woke up sorry. Yes I used procreate! To achieve the slightly textured edge of everything and linearts, I used Dry Ink. Another draw of my sky kid Clau ascended form. I’m afraid that the trend of the ascended sky kids is dying because I really like that concept. And o just decided to add more information of my sky kid from the previous draw I did. When Clau got ascended she decided to live in vault so she can learn more ancient magic and now she’s basically a mage. Her staff now can create light strikes that can stun krill for at least 7 seconds and kill crabs but it must be recharged after is used. She’s still a bit afraid of krills but she’s finding a new magic that can finally can defeat krills. Sorry if my grammar is bad 😅

@orchid rain Krill attack creatures of light because their habitats have very little natural light to feed on. If a crab was given a light source that it could easily absorb, and trained not to go after sky kids, it might conceivably become a non-hostile krill after metamorphosis.
It would be something like keeping a trained lion or bear, though– to a krill, light creatures are food, and if the food stops giving food... well, it's still food. It would never be completely safe to be around, and probably wouldn't defend against attacks from wild krill.

As for white krill: krill are fundamentally the same substance as other species of light creatures. They are black (and grey, for crabs) because they don't have as much energy to spare and don't cooperate with other species by sharing light. Because they store their light so well, they have a black appearance.
If a crab were given an abundance of light and kept in a cooperative ecosystem (like most lands of Sky), it might have a lighter color as a krill, because there wouldn't be a need for strict energy storage. Well-fed, tame krill might be a shade of grey, or even white if the air contained so much spare light that it needed to emanate the extra to avoid overloading its energy storage.

The wind breeze as the grass fluttering beneath my feet
feeling the happiness was truly there before me
when a first friend was there
they reaching their arms before me with their bright smile
we were happy playing along together as long as we want

the happiness wasn’t there any last longer
the light started to dim down and turn gray on the sky, covered by dark clouds
as the first friend turned into a betrayal in front of me
They want to leave my side and left with another friend
they told another friend that i was intimidating them
the rain starts to pour around me
while these two had a light shown before their path as they walk away
i started to lost their trust
despise, depression, disgust and so on mix together into one inside of my light
the light orb was devouring by the darkness, swallowing whole
i feel my body change and become more negative
a mask shattered as I clutched onto it
hair started to get messy
the cape was torn
clothes got dirty by mud
as the dark cloud still raining beneath me
i saw a pair black antennas with several hideous spikes before my vision
i look at myself on the puddle and kneel down
i saw two pair small diamonds with vertical irises on them
glowing red eyes reflected on the puddle
i slowly reach to the black spiky antennas and touch it
the touch was cold and yet harden like a shellfish
i feel nothing but negative
i.....somehow

2nd attempt: Thanks to @gusty lake for the prompt. Today a month ago, was my Sky Anniversary. Technically I got my first email on the 18th of January, however the 20th was when I received the invite. It was so nice to be invited into this world. And now, as a gift of sorts back, I've just completed the bulk of the work on my cape, ready for a con in 2 weeks. Here's a short video. More of the costume left to be done, but the cape has been a labour of love, patience, panic and feeling overwhelmed at times. I'm so pleased with how it's turned out.

Thanks @austere saffron . Thanks all for your reactions. It's been a huge project. Finding a way to get the pattern onto fabric after drawing it, then learning to sew and designing the entire construction from start. Then working out how to get all the wiring and electronics inside.

a wishing tree, it's slightly unfinished work from me abandoning the project but the concept is a way to buy blessings if you've unlocked every elder already, the interior of the tree looks like a little library and spell room with included discreet lore on the walls
