A twisted world where the kids bring darkness while the Krills protect the light sources would be a somewhat neat concept! Perhaps even an AU of what it could have looked like before the disaster came could also be a thing. Examples to that could be a city in which the elders were still alive and took care of the kids (before they became statues at Eden)

Meet my oc I created for my cosplay, I call her Meadow Mother and she’s the one that watches the children grow to the age needed to be on their own also the one to give them their first cape. And is the one to help the extinguished children (basically when you loose all your wings) back home. Now obviously I can’t due white hair cause I rather not dye it and what not so I have a long cloak and hood and that hides her head. But she’d have shoulder height hair

Oh my word I finally finished it! O)-<

And I had to spend half a day figuring out how to compile the comic this way because OH MY WORD my drawing program doesn't support snapping images to layer boundaries. I had to dig out and install an old version of Photoshop Elements that came with my 10 year old Wacom Intuos 4 just to take advantage of its snapping to layer boundaries...

All this effort just for this server! Because 1. The server doesn't show previews of external links, so I can't link the tumblr/deviantART submissions and 2. I don't want to post it page by page because it'd be lame spoiler tagging some pages and leaving others open.

This comic is especially designed to be by page and not in webtoon format, so pardon the weird panel spacing on this version.

Well, im using that cape someone made irl as a reference image for my own.

Ill be making mine from a thick red linen and white wool.

At some point

Ill try to double stitch it together so it all ends up being roughly blanket-thickness and ill hand stitch the ends of the cloak so it doesnt fray.

#

I do have the minor problem of being a sub-par tailor tho ;-; ive made my own cloaks irl before a few times though that are roughly the same thickness and length (i call them “Half-Cloaks”), so i think i have the experience with them necessary to make something nice.

@junior linden Unfortunately that cape would have... side effects. Have you seen the weird glitches when a manta passes in front of the camera (especially on Vault)? The motion blur in Sky doesn't handle transparent objects properly, so you get weird effects. With that cape you'd see them all the time 😄 (Personally I think that'd be really cool, but I suspect they wouldn't ship it 😉 They'd need to improve the motion blur effect first, and that would be hard!)
