@night lantern I was thinking maybe a little Rouge Fox creature that will be dull and black. They run around Wasteland and if you run out of light they will run up to you and you can light them up. This will only work if you haven't completely lost all of your light. You must be able to still draw your candle. The creature will glow white now and give you light before it makes a little happy sound, like a beep and runs off. This would fix the issue of running out of light and being far from a light source. And they would be pretty cute. I'd say there can only be two on a map and you can call them with a big beep by holding down on your character. But to limit their use, once they are glowing you can no longer receive light from them so if someone before you used them, now you can't. Because I wouldn't want them to be too powerful.

Skytober day 5: Instrument! (Late)

I didn’t really care for this style much, it was fun to use, but the end product wasn’t really something I liked. It was nice practice though, so I won’t beat myself up about it, I’ll keep practicing with other styles lmao.

My favorite style still remains on day 3, we’ll see if that changes at all because that one was checking off nearly all my aesthetics.

The prompt is to draw an elder - so I drew Eden's Elder wearing the Crown of Eden, as he defended Eden after Wasteland fell to darkness. The youngest elder (lol can it really be called and elder then) the only one with the same posture as Sky kids.

Skytober Day 6: Light Creature!

Didn’t actually do a light creature because I figured “hey we all know what light creatures would generally look like”, so I’m throwing a fun idea out here.

Neutral creatures! They don’t attack you, but if you happen to lose a winged light, instead of having to race against a clock, you have to race against these gray guys. If they grab your winged light before you do, you’ll hear a little bell chime and they’ll scamper off. I thought it’d be cute if the number of winged lights they’d collected were converted into little bells around their neck. I imagine neutral creatures would be represented by agile and playful animals, like foxes and ferrets!

This is the first time attempting a human form. I used a bed sheet for the body and stuffed it with fabric scraps & quilt batting.

Not that it makes any difference lol (because the body is kind of stiff), I put wire in the arms and legs.

Elysium could feature a farm area, where you could purchase rides, pets or eggs. Eggs would be cheaper but would need time to hatch. You could also visit the farm to meet creatures, pet and feed them. Super limited eggs could also pop up in the different levels from time to time. The farm would be the place to bring them to discover what random creature could hatch from them. (I removed the close-ups because the different images would arrange differently; I can reupload them again if ther is something you don´t see).
