Man they’re messed up in this au: basically the war in this au is dragged out MUCH longer to the point it’s still active when skykids fall, aka everyone is alive.

after surviving being stabbed by the twins, used their orange light (fire magic) to basically keep themselves moving, keep fighting.

So much so that smoke seeps through the cracks of their armour, the sheer amount of light used changed their hair to be a flame itself, as I hc elders hair is comprised of light.

They’re burning.

Their will to keep moving being to protect their people and soldiers till their last breath, to the point of being near possessive of keeping them safe

They’re so silly :3

Based off of a roleplay I did with my alt.. say hello to a new side project called.. LOST HENRY! The main star is Henry, an awkward 11 year old boy who has been left behind by his mum who got forced into war, and now he is on a quest to save her, along the way he meets many friends and foes including a chilled guy who shows Henry the world, I’m not sure when I will make this series but probably not today because I have TMW season two to finish!

You know that trope of putting a consciousness into a computer?😗

Basically: since the war drags on for much longer, space to hold the wounded and refugees glows slim in the vault. Only reason they can even hold more ancestor's is because uses purple light to make more space. (Which has canonically shown to manifest objects in the ark cutscene for it).

BUT because of a magic hc consequence i have: The fingers for purple magic users glitch out, but because of the sheer overuse of it, just like- starts glitching out fully. So to just help stabilize themselves, consciousness in computer. (This is getting pretty long so i'll cut it short but like): vault transforms into a sort of computer(?), can project themselves anywhere in the vault, be multiple places at once, feel when somebody moves in the building ect.

Like the vault is apart of them now basically.

Oneday i'll put a coherent timeline but for now, just ideas, okay bye

Days of Color, 2023! And I finished in time for the event to end! I’m super happy with this, it’s my best digital art piece yet!
However… it would not look this good if I didn’t have help and support! I counted, and I had help from 15 people, each person helped me with advice or given me encouragement. Ever since they announced the spirits for this season, this one has resonated with me and my experiences growing up. I felt personally attacked when they said they show off the big books they read and redraw pictures until they get them exactly right (I drew my cape at least 3 times). The experience of being singled out and alienated for what you’re good at as a kid, making it your entire identity and source of self-worth, and feeling the need to be perfect and compete with others over it is one I relate to deeply.

And then there was the quest, where you have to learn to stay with the herd and work with others instead of competing. Even now, my first impulse was to race ahead of everyone else. That didn’t work, so my second impulse was to fixate on doing it perfectly. If you do either, you end up isolated in a dark place, and you need to let other people help you to get through it. Which…felt

So yeah, they don’t even have a name, but I have so many feelings about them. I think if I met them when I was a kid I’d see them as a rival. Now, I just want to give them a hug. I want to let them know that it’s okay not to be ahead all the time, that they have worth outside of their achievements, and that there’s no need to compete with others when you probably have so much in common. And then I’d race them in hermit valley because old habits die hard (ask my friends, apparently I’m like a whole different person)

But they did their rite of passage, finally, so I guess they’ve taken that lesson to heart. I’m proud of them.

it's made of short pile fleece! i hand sewed the yellow detailing on flat using a whip stitch, and then sewed the whole thing right sides together with a machine and turned it inside out! the little diamond was the last piece i sewed on, it just got whip stitched on top again :)
(and i managed to get the fabric free because i work at a fabric shop )
