im pretty sure you're max height, there was a cooldown on response. if the flattest part of your skull (hair) lines up with the vertical part right before the angle then you're max height which yours looks like it does

Activate the season quest in the golden wasteland lobby, once you sit down and wait for the cutscene to end, do not offer your hand to the season guide’s hand, just jump in the whirlpool without her. Once you land, you’ll slowly see two krills floating in the sky, but you can only get on them when using the rocket method with another player, since you can’t go high enough, make sure to go on the one to the further right, since the other one goes through a wind barrier

You need 3 people usually if the other person is doing it this way. I do the hard part first (so someone can keep a candle on the part that might regrow) and then have the other person stand idle like this with a candle to do the easy part. It’s not a fun plant at all. It used to burst all the time (for me) until Days of Nature this year. So frustrating.
