Actually, there's another option than going to Eden.
Is the red shard that falls on a certain realm. It will reward you with the Ascended Candle (The "weird" candle)
But it's not every day also doesn't always fall as a red shard.

@shut epoch Eden's reward more than what I told before. But it can be a starter for you to get that weird candle without getting much pain or not ready yet. Also, Black dyes can be obtain around map 5 and 6, but it less than Eden. And yeah, as new player, it definitely need to go to Eden first. But there's no rush to go to Eden. You can prepare

you get more AC and black dye in eden
the dye is in the early parts, all the way up till the end (then it just stops) then the AC you get at the end
the amount of AC you get is determined by how much winged light you give out to the statues
ALSO, you can theoretically just fly though Eden, certain parts require practice though like the beginning and the end (before the point of no return)
I reccomend just going through Eden, it wont take that long to get the winged light back since you most likely know where everything is, my tip is that the more you go through Eden the faster your winged light goes back up

In Eden you can:

• give your WLs to the petrified people and then die.
• bring a friend for support, to get further and give your WLs to more petrified people. And then die together.
