I have a theory that it is The King Resh/Alef

Either that's exactly what he looked like underneath his Star-Headed Armor right before Eden Shattered, or just his spirit taking a younger form earlier in his life.

Either way; I think there is MAJOR significance to the fact that [the spirit in orbit, featured in your screenshot] has Two Stars on his Wing, but only one of them is charged. (Also the fact that he's looking TOWARDS the Rebirth Gate.)
