Yep! It was explained a long time ago (i forget where though if it was on a livestream or not) but everyone has 2 different aspects of their height: height and scale. People only tend to remember the first one, but the second aspect actually can affect your height too!

Resize potions affect height, but your scale is unaffected. This can make your skykids proportions a little different than others! So even with 2 chibis, one might be slightly taller or shorter than the other due to their scale numbers being different

No worries! So chibi mask automatically puts you at a set height number, regardless of what your height is when not wearing the mask. So your friends height number doesnt affect the chibi height.

Your Scale (think of it as like body proportions) is set when your skykid is created and isnt affected by resize potions at all. So someone who has the same height number as another person (like with chibi mask) may not look the same as the other due to each skykids scale numbers being different! Which can cause some chibis to look taller than others (maybe they have a bigger scaled head haha) If that makes sense!
