example when you look at A9, who see how the car spoiler raises itself up for drifting, normal driving accelerating. add more interesting feature. add more maps. all the maps we have are now like super boing, even the best one such as barcalona, dubai and other start to feel boring. Add Paris, or new york or some other maps to make the game more interesting. @everyone this for yall.

Nope the last thing this game needs is a graphics update… We already passed that phase… better graphics don’t mean in any way that the game is good… not only that honestly as a veteran if they updated the graphics would make the game worse
It wouldn’t feel like asphalt 8 anymore… this arcade graphics we have are pretty good and timeless
But better models with higher resolutions on the other hand… would be pretty nice
Specially on the older maps like they did to Venice… regardless we need more maps

Funny, though, I've been busy modifying the motion blur shader to centralize it and make it look better. Plus, I made custom masking to blur the sides better, giving a sense of speed. Something they wouldn't bother.
Also, they need to rework the car specular, it's always by the camera rather by the sun or moon.

Incredible how even without I mention the motion blur and sense of speed you talked about it… well that’s exactly what I do want to AVOID at all times… motion blur can give a better sense of speed as well to make the graphics “better” but on my personal opinion I hate motion blur… when I tried asphalt 9 one of the main reasons I didn’t like it and not play it is exactly that… I can’t stand all that motion blur… seeing everything blurred while driving… I don’t care if it is “realistic” and it gives sense of speed… I can’t stand it and asphalt 9 does not have an option to disable it at least on iOS.. regardless that’s not the only reason why I don’t play asphalt 9 and truly think that asphalt 8 is much better in terms of gameplay…

That’s one of the main reasons I don’t play asphalt 9… well I wouldn’t play it regardless not only because of that… but not giving the option to turn it off it’s completely unnecessary…

Both are different games… there’s no point on doing it so… making the graphics similar to those of asphalt 9 would only make the game worse…
They are two different types of game as of right now… if at one point asphalt 9 was to be the better asphalt 8, the continuation they failed
Graphics of asphalt 9 and asphalt 8 can’t be directly compared… it does not make any sense comparing them since asphalt 8 is a more arcade type of game while asphalt 9 tried to be more realistic…

it depends how they decide to go with it… but yea I can see that… reflections are reflections after all… getting better reflections would be pretty cool on asphalt 8 but please hope they never mess with motion blur… if they decide to mess and update something in graphic’s terms hope they only mess with the models, textures and a higher quality/more detailed reflections because as of right now they are still there just a bit… not with much details super basic… which am not saying that’s a bad thing but that they could be better

In 5 or even 10 years I don’t see it aging at all.. just the models and textures … models and textures might need to be updated for higher resolutions

Just a last thought… More motion blur doesn’t mean better graphics far from it…
I personally just disable completely when the game I am playing allows it and if it is too much without letting me to disable it then I just don’t play it 
Over the years was possible to see an obvious trend of new games having more and more “heavy” motion blur that I completely despise it…
A game it’s a game… it’s not supposed to be real… motion blur on games on my opinion is just a pain…
Yea are games that are supposed to be realistic or with real physics but still motion blur should be always possible to turn it off

Luckily for you all, the motion blur for 8 can be disabled...you just need a workaround.
My issue with the motion blur is it's always off-centered to the left.
Though, I fixed it on mine. It wasn't easy to figure it out.
