For unboosting gaming switch to A9.
In A8 the mechanism it's different, all cars are designed to run with that, even by TK or nitro.
On the other hand, the Ultimates cars will always win even unboosted because of raw speed without TK, so... If you run with cente, FF and so on vs me with 300+ or Absolut, I win easy against you.

Btw, some cars has low performance by acc without TK, some cars can't be controlled without nitro and TK help, and the reasons are many UNBOOSTED 100%.

Boosters are essential for the cars in A8, the performance of cars are based by that.
Otherwise, Gameloft must redesign all cars to have ability to run without. Nitro start it's irelevant because TK is the most important thing here, give the power of drifting, stability on track, handling and so on.

I give you a homework: go and run unboosted with a non-ultimate car on a long track, Tokyo rev for example, and see how bad is that car in terms of performance.
If you have a Ultimate car, can be ok but not much. The row speed will be a very powerful item in MP even without TK involved, 490+ for Ultimate vs non-ultimate 460 I guess or so.

And obviously for MP the best will be 300+ or ​​Absolute even without TK. For the players who don't have them, will run with a non-ultimate car like FF, Cente... The winners will be always Ultimates in this context.

I just won a master season race with bugatti 16.4 grand sport vitesse (not fully upgraded) against agera r and ssc ultimate aero xt as an unboosted because I have decent nitro management ability

even people with below average nitro management can still do stuff since everyone only has nitro starter

Man, if you can do ones, doesn't mean can be 4ever.
Of course it's about nitro management, but it will be borring 10 races without full power, if you wreck in to that lap, 3-4 seconds are a lost and your recovery will be more harder than usual with boosters 🤷🏻
Like I say, 1 nitro start doesn't change anything, long maps without nitro will be so boring to play like a autopilot...
