Yeah like Ruben said, congrats to the winners, y'all did great... but there has been a lot of this sort of stuff going on where there are clearly other edits that should've won/been honrably mentioned. I have seen this with the last four contests that I have been involved in. In fact, I actually placed third in one of those events and I believe there were other eidts that beat my by quite a large bit. I genuinely think there may be some bias within this voting, because it seems like those who have been playing the game longest and who have been most involved with the community are the ones who place best on such competitions. There are exceptions of course, but generally speaking this seems to be true. Ahsen has a wonderful idea here, and I believe it should definitely be carried out from now on

after watching the winners' edits, i can honestly say that mine was nothing in front of theirs. so my winning chances were just 0 lol. but if u guys think that voting should be done in forums way, i dont mind cuz im not gonna participate in further contests anyway lol. i have came to know my level the hard way. again a big congratulations to all the winners 👏

That's it. I don't trust Gameloft to judge fairly. I believe a community based method would be more fair and objective. For events, a forum can be created, and the community can simply upvote these forum posts to give their opinion
of course, if you have a better idea for unbiased crowdsourced judging, I'd be happy to hear it

Stop this kind of drama 🙂 there is no such thing. We like your submission = you place in top 5, there is no bias. We also do not know who has been playing for the longest time. The winners are selected based on the contest rules, there's no other hidden criteria.
And honorary mentions are not winners, but rather submission that we loved other the Top 5 and decided to still cite
