so yeah basically neuro has her color changing lava lamp, but plasma globes get their color from the gases contained in them. so some sort of gas changing and mixing mechanism maybe?

well the problem is if the gases are all seperate i dont know what it would really end up looking like, cuz i feel like theres a chance it would work but it might also just become white or smthn

Well "controllable" the answer will be leds

But using LEDs, it will hardly look like a plasma globe

yea, cuz while LEDs and some sort of smoke traily bit behind the actual plasma reflecting the light is probably the most practical answer I was curious if it was technically possible to make a plasma globe that can change the color of the plasma on the fly by varying the atmospheric composition/voltage/whatever

I don't think it's possible with just one type of gas, and I don't think it's feasible with several types either. But, it would be possible to simulate it using a 360 holographic display.
