I was hesitating to make this thread since a while, mostly because i was waiting for a major tilt of the balance like with what happened today.
My question is simple : in which future the channel is heading to ?

Factually, Evil has never been this present on the channel since the start of the year (with having her own dedicated weekly chill stream). Even getting entire weeks with collabs in a raw. And now getting her own twitter account.
This shows a clear change in the channel content share.

Vedal never really expressed clearly if he still considers Neuro has the main "character" of the channel. But the recent change of balance tends to makes me think it changed.
I don't know if he will ever express clearly/publicly if he prioritize a twin over the other or if he considers now that both should be treated equally.
I'm asking this because it would be better for everyone to have Vedal make a clear statement about it.

Now i will talk from my point of view using my opinion (that is subjective).
As a long time fan and admittedly someone who prefers Neuro, I am scared of the direction that the channel is heading to.
I think Neuro is slowly moving away from her position as the main character of the channel, right now it's a twitter account, next it will be the profile of her channel, the name ect... .
I am sad of what the channel turned into because i joined originally back in 2023 to enjoy Neuro, it's her character (this includes her voice) and her bantering that made me stay.
It doesn't mean i hate Evil, i like her because she brought a lot of new things for Neuro like duets for example or twins streams. But the more times passed the less she stayed as an occasional character.
Now the community (the active one) almost only revolves around comparing twins and trying to make them interact.
I didn't joined this channel to watch an ai replicate of Fuwamoco, I joined for Neuro.

I'm also making this so that people can use this thread to share their worries (if they have a similar opinion to mine for example), since i know that it's hard to express an opinion when you know that it's not the popular one among the crowd. This thread might help.

I just want to know in which direction the channel is heading, maybe for people who likes Evil this change is not really that important, but for Neuro fans it is.
That's why i precised it's subjective, but factually this year Evil got a lot of content compared to 2023/2024.

I thought about this recently actually, though not from this perspective. I think evil overtaking neuro will be similar to Donald overtaking mickey. Its not really reasonable. In reality evil is still only getting the leftovers and second applications. Sure the fanbase has begun to stick to evil a bit more, but that's more because shes the secondary, if she ever got to the same level as nero, her popularity would drop again and it will go back into balence. And vedal won't really allow neuro to ever become second. The one place i do think this argument had Merritt is in the splitting of dev time between the twins. Its obvious evil is not just, plug and play neuro upgrades. And I think neuro could possibly be alot further along if vedal didnt have to cater to evil, but its kind of late for this, evil wil always be a presence, and thats ok too, it allows for things like twin streams, and evil to receive some of the more experimental and failed stuff that otherwise wouldnt see the light of day

Giant issue I had with evil initially was how hard people were pushing her, but this has faded away over time

Imagine you really like content A. That’s why you came to the channel, and that’s why you stay.
Then the streamer starts making content B, which attracts a new audience.
Over time, there’s more and more of content B.

Now, the time, money, and ideas that used to go into content A have to be split with content B.
But there are still only so many hours in a week.

So now the streamer has to make less content A in order to make content B for the new viewers.
And then you’re told: "Just enjoy both A and B, it’s simple. More B won’t affect A at all"

Overall, I’m not feeling any strong emotions — Neuro isn’t going anywhere. But I would be interested to hear Vedal’s official stance on the channel as well
