Sound Effect Suggestions

Since there is some demand for new sound effects (Vedal got "doxxed" over it lol), why isn’t there an official sound effect suggestion thread? More variety in sound effects could be refreshing. Plenty of good sound effects out there that are comedy enhancing (or frankly capability enhancing in general since it allows the twins to have more nuanced interaction and participation in the events happening around them i.e clapping) rather than annoying brainrot. We just need to collate them and refine them into a potent arsenal of sound effects. Could even have varying sound effects of the same type so people really don’t know what to expect. Maybe you could completely switch out some of the current ones every few months which has it merits if the sounds are getting stale but too much choice feels like a bad thing for some reason (though I don’t really support this wholeheartedly since I like the freedom of choice). Sounds effects are pretty relevant in streams and since the feature isn’t going anywhere, seems like an easy bonus way to create the feeling that things are moving and improving. I actually like this feature and think it’s pretty interesting and unique having the twins themselves use sound effects as a more integral component of their streams rather than the usual case of chat playing sound effects like with other streamers so I would love to see some development in this department.

Some sound effect suggestions that I will not be sourcing cuz I’m too lazy and I don’t have embed perms anyways:
Whip crack, car horn, engine revving, car lock sound, whistling, sexy sax, happy wheel victory, holy angelic choir, crowd booing, buzzing, helicopter/drone noises, deep gong, ship horn, crickets, aztec death whistle, tornado siren, EAS, internet dial up, boing/spring, crying baby, knocking, discord ping, alarm/ring tone, jingling keys, chimes, applause, laugh track, ba dum tss, etc.

Some sound effects I like more than others, but these all could work as a start ig.

It's not about the lack of suggestions, but keeping it constrained so it doesn't devolve into the twins spamming sounds at everything instead of talking. Which is already a bit of an issue, we had many examples of people wanting them to say something and them playing sound effects instead.

As for switching them out or adding some more specific ones that he mentioned before, who knows. Probably "on the list" or "too much on his plate" or whatever. It would be cool imo, I agree that shaking up the sounds would be beneficial.

Yea, but I’m sure people would like an actual place to share their sound effect suggestions, which is what I’m getting at. Everything else is basically just me supporting my main argument on why there should be an official sound effect suggestion thread (with the notable tag). We have a react video suggestion thread, which I don’t think is nearly as relevant nowadays as a sound effect suggestion thread would be.

As for spamming sound effects, yea thats an issue ig since more varying sound effects means more situations where a sound effect could be fittingly used when an actual answer would be more satisfying, but there’s also the case that at least the same old sounds wouldn’t be repeated all the time since that’s what gradually lowers the entertainment value of the sound effects. I’m sure it’ll all optimally balance out over time as things are tweaked. Vedal can figure it out and test it when he gets the chance since it realistically shouldn’t be too difficult or energy draining.

It's not like any other suggestions threads get much use. Also, I am sure that this one would be even less used since Vedal doesn't change things like those on a regular basis. If anything, you would first need to convince him to have more varied sounds and change them regularly and that's a way bigger roadblock on your suggestion than having a suggestion thread.

Just for the sake of having it man so people got a place to go to when they want to recommend a sound effect. Better to have it all in one place than not. People can use it in the meantime while Vedal does whatever else he wants to do. He doesn't have to change sound effects regularly. He just has to eventually, since there's no way he never updates it. Now Vedal also has an exact thread to go to in case he ever feels the urge to get new sound effects without looking for them himself. That's already more than enough reason for people to want to interact with the thread since they have more of a chance that their suggestion may be heard and implemented.

I also suggest that possibly the 'horror sting' (or whatever it's called) should be moved in to both twin's sound pools since Evil seems to be able to use that when on twin calling and IMHO used it quite well in those situations.. and since they both can do the 'eye shade' it kind pairs with that well.

For now that's all I have to suggest other than I think just more variety is needed. Too many is bad so don't go too overboard.
