Many people bought lava lamps at times of much better timer values, and 24 hours is VERY low if considering the possibility of adding time for the lamp from the start. 24 hours minimum value with a reasonable upper limit, like 48 or 72 hours. It will be positive no matter what, we just have a chance at getting a better result and more chances in the future then to get the sub timer back up.

That could have the better long-term effect on keeping the subathon going, but at the same time I think it is probably fair to compensate the timer directly on the lamp sales, rather than expecting more spending after. And someone in chat I think said they did the math of 4 seconds that it should come out to 36 hours, so it seems reasonable to do more than 24.

Tbh, the subathon won't probably need more than 2 or 3 more days.
