I wanted to do a playthrough of subnautica with the neuro sama mod. Ive followed the instructions on github and it doenst seem to be working. When I first start a game i get a normal splash screen and absolutely no different content. If i open a save I get a custom splash screen and "erm" and still, no different content. Am i just completely stupid and the mod is made for vedal only? Or is there actually a way to play this?

no ermfish, no ermshark, no tutel, nutin. the game content seems to just be vanilla subnautica

the modded content is locked behind some story goals i think

there's no story locks anymore but i did check it out and you're right, there's very little "open water" creature spawns (tutels do spawn normally but other creatures only started appearing in lategame or confined areas)
