You can also adjust how far in the lines it should select (grow setting) , you might need to fix sharp a few sharp angles but still faster than manually

I'm still learning too, best advice I can give is what you are planning, keep on practicing as much as possible. That repetition will develop your skillset as you pick up on things. Deduction on weak points, how to improve them, and understanding your strong points too.

Though I suppose the black in Evil is very saturated.

It's funny because Neuro has four colors on her while Evil has only two, yet I agree adding another color can get too loud on Evil if done improperly.

Neutral colors does not exclude the possibility of contrast, but rather even emphasizes it

Light colors on white will be darker, and dark colors on black will be lighter

yeah, neutral colours can enhance saturated colours. For example, a bright blue on a white background will appear brighter and cleaner, while the same blue on a grey background may appear less prominent

many people spend years searching their art style, it is better to focus on studying the base

you can make images look rather trippy even with having them overlayed with one being half transparent and a bit larger... now probably doesn't make that kind of effect

so light hits a semi-transparent object, some is reflected, some is absorbed and scatters all around inside the object and exits through different parts of it

and different materials reflect different types of light better than others

so skin just absords red/orange light really well

Broo i've never noticed this but even the color of your skin can affect subsurface scattering because if you have more melanine your skin absorves more light and then the light scatter less

one thing to remember that sleep is important when it comes to learning... not just about having enough sleep but it's part of the process... initially learning new thing can be really overwhelming and much easier tackle when your mind has worked on it during your sleeping to "internalize it" or whatever the wording is... so yeah good way to gauge improvement is before and after sleep
