I fully recommend by the way for people who started late into this to look through all of March’s wheel spins and try to do as many of the fantasy classes as possible. I do it in "sprints", every day I have time I trace a frame of anime for linework practice, then 30-60 mins of sketching the thing I am studying, then do an art of Evil.
On Monday/over the weekend I do an art for "The reason to love Evil" reflect and choose the next thing I will study for a week

one point ill add onto that is that certain cameras have more distortion than others if you have a wide angle lens it will look more distorted than a telephoto lens

in those images they are probably all mimicking wide angled lenses but when you practice anamomy you are mimicking a telephoto lens

ive wanted to do one of these for awhile
Heres my current process i go through when doing the sketch layer for neuro
Im not professionally taught, i often dont look at tutorials, and theres lots of mistakes, but the fact I can churn out something of any decent quality in this timeframe is proof that I am doing a great job in figuring things out

I could have spent like 5 more minutes to clean it up, but I often do stuff like that when im putting in proper linework

Also ive said it before, I really dont like the seifuku
it feels odd to draw in comparison to like
anything else

its really silly that I start with the hair, but I used to start with the chin/jawline
and it always made the head look bad

i sometimes wish you'd get the day off where you can spend time on drawing longer without any time restrictions.. i really feel like you're ability to draw better determine on how long you spend on it..

i mean i literally do that actually xd 10+ hours and still on lineart

I do agree, but Im also a an advocate for incremental change as well
It allows me to learn at a more comfortable pace, and it really chows how much I gros as you look at each and every drawing

I learn little things, eyes, hands, feet, body shape, how logs should be position, general head sturcture

but focusing on sigular pieces bogs me down, and makes me feel like Im not learning anything

I think it needs to be a bit fatter and moved a bit to the right, the twist on her waist and the orientation of her pelvis doesn’t look natural to me.
