Right off the bat, this seems to be a problem only I have, but as of late its gotten more and more into my mind that you cant have debates on Neurocord.
Some people have pre-conceptions, but don't care enough to really debate about the issue and just post their negativity because they're bored. They then don't acknowledge the points of other people, because they dont care.
Other times, when trying to discuss topics, some people just say "Who cares" or "It is what it is" rather than thinking about the problem, again, because they dont care.
They're entitled to that opinion, but that spreads negativity and kills any debate at its root as people are discouraged from speaking their mind, seeing a "majority" against or for a certain thing off the get-go. It doesnt help that Neurotic Neurons or General are fast-moving, all-purpose threads that can sometimes have six or seven topics going at the same time.
I'm not saying it needs to be investigated and fixed ASAP, but i'm just wondering if there could be a better way, through a dedicated debate channel where people can have a civil, proper, pro vs contra discussion with both viewpoints accepted and analyzed.
Someone suggested to me that it would come with a special role or some sort of ruleset to follow, so that only people who are interested in debates actually go on that channel.

so you can discuss how fandom is terrible and fractured etc
