My thoughts on it:
I have two theories for this:
- The Ai timeline(not as solid as 2 tho):
-The first couple lines might refer to how long its been for Neuro v1. The neural network that used the old model is "scared" to let it go. This makes me think that the ARG(or atleast this song) is displaying an AI "gaining" emotions. We see multiple lines where the singer(lets assume its Neuro here) feels hurt and sad at letting V1 go.
The numbers may be a way to distract her, however, even these numbers refer to the "debut"(the idea discussed before i mean) and keep reminding her, hence the line, "Generating lyrics is a pain".
Tbh, i dont think its this at all. I was just trying to go out on a limb and establish vague connections.
Theory 2 i think might be closer to the truth:
- We know that in Study, the character portrayed is a girl in university who is in an engineering course. All her life she has struggled in maths and doesnt want to take this course. We dont know what is forcing her to do this(not necessary to know either id say). We see her struggle in the next song, and fall into a depressive state. After this song, she happens upon a "Ghost", after which the mc(lets refer to her that way to make it easier) is changed in some way, her speech is very slightly more robotic. People r saying that she had become partially human and partially AI. Maybe that is the case. Im not sure what happens afterwords, and its speculation from here on, but here goes nothing:
-The "ghost" eventually becomes a friend of the mc(perhaps the girl we see in the second fallen down song?) and tries to help her. However, she fails when she tried to "merge" herself with the mc, causing the "robotic"(which imo is more just glitching out rather than robotic) voice. The "ghost" thought to give her capabilities to the mc but failed, resulting in there being no change to her situation(same old struggle through each test and stuff).
This is where three different routes could be possible:
-After many years, the mc passes away and the ghost is distraught. Hence the connection to Numbers. The ghost is the singer in it. It is a recount of her life with the mc and the lyrics fit with the tone.
-The ghosts unmerges with the mc, and they continue on like before. After a couple weeks however, the mc cant seem to find her, and so tries to contact her through an sms; a way the ghost gave her to contact her in dire emergencies or in case she goes away. It has been many days since trying to contact her, and the mc misses the ghost.
Reminder:
-When i say the ghost, i dont mean that literally, its just the character, and could be a living human, or an AI.
-This is just pure theorising and im pretty sure none of this is correct. We will have to see as people uncover the secrets of the ARG. So please dont shit on :L . This was something i cooked up like half an hour so its super unpolished and not thought out much-
-There will be many grammatical and spelling errors

- "Study" which gives almost no clue of what's happening. 6-8 (unsure) songs with two interventions in the mid-way doing nothing but being "cool quotes" to the viewer. Also one of them has the code snippet, similar to SMS writing program with destination number set to "Base" (Base64-like encrypted text)
- "Numbers" that contains instructions on how to get the key(?) for the cipher in the description, algorithm for which we assume and cipher itself which is a "Base" too. Oh, and we also successfully struggling on our way to understand the lyrics properly.

OK So, I'm convinced that for Numbers we need to convert the final number into letters using a simple substitution of A = 1, B = 2 etc. which will get us the password to decrypt. In Study, near the end Neuro sings a part of Numbers but she goes ABC 543, so I reckon the substitution will be A = 5, B = 4.

If you want to test a number combination, put it into the input, separating them by spaces and it will convert it to text.
If you want to adjust the letter substitution swap the CIPHER text to the letter oyu want corresponding to the plaintext field. e.g if you think A = B then the first letter in Cipher Text will be A.

It was posted on the same day that sadecsss made the first version of what would then become the current stream starting screen. There is no way Vedal contacted sadecsss that far back, because there is no way that Vedal would've known sadecsss was even making that animated drawing, let alone all of the pixel arts that came with it.
