Anyway the real reason I am here is to give some simple pointers / a tldr for the previous,,, few hours of council
First: since we just got nuked, I feel like we should focus on repairing the evil art (1), build the evil frog art next to the nuke spot (2), then the 
(3), also by the nuke spot, just to show who's boss

Second: Some of y'all might've noticed that council kinda disappeared for a few hours during The Great Nuking, and it's mostly due to the fact that we already had a template down, we couldn't ping anyone, and what Jack said earlier (focus on one art at a time to repair) is a pretty broad stroke when it comes to handling getting nuked. Vedal was also waiting on that stream key, so we couldn't do much during that specific period of time.
Swarm this canvas has been stretched across, well, the entire canvas! As such, coordinating defences in this mess is difficult: the global template already serves that purpose mostly.
Moving forward, will there be a template update? Probably yeah, having the same static arts for a week straight isn't the "ever changing canvas" smh

Hi! I hope you're having fun placing pixels, the swarm has definitely displayed our tenacity on the canvas! However, it seems like there are certain aspects of the canvas (like twinshipping art) that is causing trouble for streamers and their livelihoods. Please understand that although the canvas is free-for-all, it'll be nice if we made the canvas minimally viewable by anyone interested. It'll be nice if more people are interested in Neuro & Evil!

For this one, you'll need a userscript, because I don't think self-organization would work with so many frames. The userscript will automagically switch templates for you for the animation. How to use a userscript browser extension is beyond the scope of this announcement, but you'll need a browser extension like Tampermonkey/Violentmonkey/Greasemonkey first, and then you simply install the userscript by clicking the install link at https://pxls.daavko.moe. You can verify that it works by reloading the canvas site and looking in the top right corner, you'll get some buttons there. More instructions will follow later.

FYI if you're using Firefox, userscript extensions don't really reliably include the script when supposed to, so it may not work without setting the injection mode to instant... you do this by going to TamperMonkey settings and setting this thing at the top to "Advanced"...
...and then all the way down this thing to "Instant"
for ViolentMonkey it's the "synchronous page mode" checkbox
(I have no idea how to set that in GreaseMonkey bc I don't use it, but I imagine it has a similar setting)
(Chrome users are unaffected by this, bc for some reason Chrome isn't broken for once)
for Chrome/Opera/Brave/AnyOtherChromiumDerivative users, you need to right-click the extension's icon in the toolbar, click "manage extension", and then check this setting to make sure the extension can actually inject the userscript

Based on how fast y'all did the waving animation, let's try one frame per 30 minutes .
Everyone who's using the userscript, delete the frame 0 template.
Also I screwed up the frame numbering in the template titles, reload the template list if you're working without the userscript.
Open the canvas, click on the settings button in the top right, and paste https://pxls.daavko.moe/img/mini/run.json into the "Animation URL" setting. This will automatically create a template for the animation and automatically update it when it's time for a new frame. DO NOT TOUCH THAT TEMPLATE (you can hide it if you want, that's fine, but don't touch the parameters). Make sure to delete the frame 0 template if you're working with the userscript

Hello everyone, I'm happy to be back and working with the Swarm Council team, particularly relating to diplomacy matters. It's been about 2 years at this point, and I think that's long enough for a break. Before I continue on:

When conner wanted war, we gave it our all. We trained in our own arena, placed lots of cute pixel art, had 2,846,554 civil wars, did 2 animations, collaborated with and protected our neighbours and most importantly, we had fun
massive shoutout to all the talented pixel artists and defiddlers for working so hard, staying up late, spending countless hours, weeks & months working on the pixel art we use for these canvases! 
We literally wouldn't be able to do this without your hard work and support, so thank you!

making organisational tools to help us animate, userscripts adding extra canvas functionality & thanks to the canvas devs for continually updating the canvas adding features throughout the week & fixing the canvas every time we broke it
