hmm... glad people found what I said before going to bed as a good summary... depth is one of those things any artist thinks so much I feel like if they really get into certain style of art... humans perception is quite good but also sucks... we are so reliant to things like shadows under people to tell how far away they're or some other tells... judging distances by pure size is harder

Yeah. The idea was that right hand being closer and more forward,so arms should've been looked shorter ,but i kinda messed up in the process by moving the legs and scaling hands wrong. Oh, well i'll fix that later

game assets is a very broad term. there are other alternatives to 3d like maya or zbrush, but I'm not sure whether it is worth changing if you are already somewhat familiar with blender. blender is just very solid.
for 2d I personally would recommend csp, but krita is also a good choice (and free). obviously there are others too, like SAI and PS. It is mainly personal preference there (but PS has the big caveat of shitty subscription and you are giving money to adobe)

The biggest thing that stands out to me is the line weight doesn't make much sense, kinda distorts the depth of the drawing.
the lines closer to the "Camera" or the "Viewer" or whatever you want to call it, should be bigger and the further away ones should be thinner.

Also the wrist of the left hand and maybe the hand itself (on the right of the image) looks a little too small.

Try to shift away from using too many individual scribble lines.
Only that way you can learn the actual shape of the leg (or any other bodypart really)
In that regard, don't try to perfect a single drawing of a leg if you want to learn their shape: repetition is key.
Fill a whole page with legs if necessary and try to break them down into their core structure with as little lines as possible
Always look at your last attempt and try to figure out where you can improve it. (!Use references!)
The same approach can then be applied for poses and proportions of the body

I can’t tell right off the bat if she’s leaning foward or not. Try using foreshortening. The parts of the body closer to the camera would be increased in size while the farther objects would be smaller. If she leans forward, her head and shoulders would increase in size.

something I was able to google is turns out camila and others are likely paying to some artist to do them... things indicate there is someone who has friended vtubers as their go to artist for those but they don't want or care to be known for their work publicly... there are artists like that, they do commissions but don't want to be credited for example

True, appreciating art can come from a variety of places. I don’t think that detracts from my point though. To reference Clord’s point that I was addressing, if you’re getting into it as a creator of the arts, though commercial motivation could work in conjunction with passion for the art, it feels a bit disingenuous if commercial value is the only reason one decided to draw. Like why even decide to get good at something if you don’t have even a small amount of passion towards the craft? Might as well just invest in stocks at that point or something.

No. My situation is kinda weird, I am currently make a Neuro minecraft animation series on my yt (have lore and references) and I'm working on Episode 2. This assignment is a completely separate so now I'm working on 2 neuro animations at the same time :/

I have had love hate relationship with some art details like... details that are interesting to draw an an artist vs details that are just easy way to get more attention towards your art
there is so much truth that unless someone is an artist they aren't likely going to value the effort part near as much... you can fill 50% of the screen with a pair and from artistic viewpoint depending of style it's quite fast inclusion lol

Nah it’s not about immersion, Neuro (and Evil) are AI systems, just thought it was strange seeing them referred to as “Vedal’s LLM stuff”. Immersion implies there’s some kind of kayfabe being broken, but there really is none. I understand that they’re AI systems composed of LLMs and auxiliary programs, and that’s how they are presented.

Just for clarification since the drawing is very messy: both are shorts. The left one is the classic dolphin shorts and the right one has a flap on the front and back to look like a super short skirt.
