for me it is kuzuki vs saber from series, berseker vs alter from movies as third pick i'd actually say Kerei kotomine against the grandpa+assassin(it is not much of fight but it is cool) . kuzuki one feels the least like overpowered pokemon battle to me and the most like actual fight, as bonus points it was tactical ambush with teamwork

here and there i replay those fights on youtube, but most of it got removed by copyright claims which is fair enough.

Fire force season 1 is so off-putting the show looks good and the music is amazing but the direction is awful

Tempo of conversations is weird with random pauses, fights are confusing to watch and also have lots of pauses (budget issue?), and even the amazing soundtrack doesn't really work when it isn't synced up properly to the action

Think they fixed it for season 2, and season 1 still alright and does have its moments

Just a shame cause it could've been peak shonen if it had better direction because everything else is there

Just saying that "the cringe is intentional" really did nothing to stop me from thinking that the story and characters were 2/10 at best. English version also does not have any special sound effects when he says "I'm atomic" which is lazy, but i watched the japanese dub so it was cool moment.

It has 20 episodes so it’s a bit longer. Season 2 takes some massive time jumps into the medieval era after a while. I thought it was pretty interesting to see Hayase’s lasting impact on Fushi and his relationship with her ancestors (we kinda only get to know 1 though). Fushi also gets new abilities which are pretty huge for him. The later half of the season is about fighting a big battle against the Nokkers. Pretty worthwhile watch imo
