Maybe the very specific exact color value is slightly darker in that particular art, but it doesn't look different enough to be some intentional change in brightness, I look at that and still just see "V2" hair because it's so close. There'd have to be a side-by-side with Neuro in the same picture where Neuro's hair is noticeably lighter than that for me to think that's intentionally darkened hair.

Whereas the art for the V3 design is VERY blatant.
