ICANT what even is it?

like what does it do?

wheat blaze
#

Yeah no idea

glass jetty
kind nimbus

So something like ligolo-ng?

Can I use that for pivoting? neuroHypers

glass jetty

I use it to forward ports and entire network ranges from machines so i can access the internal networks and services from my machine

NAHHH what do you mean too popular?

wheat blaze

now i understand better

glass jetty
#

NOTHING worked for me when i tried anything else (than vless reality)
so i created this ill thing

kind nimbus
#

Yeah i will check that out

Thx for sharing

wheat blaze
#

this is a crazy challenge haha

kind nimbus
#

I'm already annoyed when defender picks up the ligolo agent and deletes it lol

glass jetty
wheat blaze
#

anyways i dont understand a single thing haha, what industsry uses it tho? cybersecurity?

kind nimbus
#

Or maybe i start writing something myself idk

#

But I'd really like something that's not detected by AV

#

Basically something as a backup if i cannot use ligolo

#

And chisel sucks and is detected anyway

glass jetty
#

well, then, since there no readme:

  1. it support multiple sessions with different logins (no passwords)
  2. stable, 0 crashes so far
  3. maybe have bottlenack somewhere, maybe it is just network bottleneck - max speed i got is 50mb when isp stand that they giv is 100
    install and use:
  4. compile from source (just cmake .. && cmake --build ., not remember actually, if you will have issues reach me) on both server and client
  5. example of config file, server search for file next to executable - 'conf.json'
{
"port":223,
"max_alive_time":72000,
"private_key_path":"private.pem",
"allowed_logins":[
    "Chara_VerKys",
    "other_guest_123",
    "moon"
    ]
}

path to private key here - just next to executable
3. server start just by sudo ./vpverk_server
4. for keygen script see /src/tests/rsakey/gen.sh
5. client will show you in cout, but here is example of command to run:
sudo ./vpverk_client --port=223 --server_ip=<server ip> --login=Chara_VerKys
public key is your password.
i will add passwords hashes eventually, but currently only public.pem is required to access (and being in valid login list)

#

@kind nimbus

kind nimbus
glass jetty
#

to spawn tun
you can see sources, there literally several lines of sync code, follow them if you want

#

not bother to create layer since i did it for myself

kind nimbus
#

huh because ligolo-ng does not require root on the agent and uses TUN as well

glass jetty
#

there 100% layers
i just not looked for them

#

btw, since client set ip that server send to you, you cant just setup tun and run it without sudo, app run set ip on tun

#

feel free to change 🤷

#

also be aware that there no mac; so dont transfer anything if your target is remote local network
and i use both gcm for control socket, and ctr for data socket in rewrite ---- it will be completely safe to transfer control, but data socket still no mac, so only for raw ip packets that will eventually be tls packets
vpverk original use one socket, idk why i again tried to use single socket

kind nimbus
#

you will need something that runs in userland like gVisor if you wanna implement that without needing root rights

#

but i guess that's probably too much work

opaque wharf
glass jetty
#

rn i want just to reproduce stable work
will make it complete service later
rn i want rewrite with sane structure

"We're just scanning the web we're all good trust me bro, we're just doing nice security analysis and nothing bad"
the bros literally sending 10 consecutive requests on the same port with the wrong protocol on purpose so fucking often

wheat blaze
kind fable
kind fable

all those "security" groups mass scanning the internet is a massive load of bullshit

i dont play minecraft but i still understand a little

the actual shit is that they're making shit worse for everyone by spamming everyone by making it harder to actually detect genuinely bad stuff

kind nimbus
kind fable

when there's like one connection fine you're scanning the internet really

but here those just send like 10 connections at once

kind nimbus
#

because everyone is reporting duplicate issues found by the same LLMs lol

kind fable
#

and it's not rare, it's multiple time per days

opaque wharf
#

And they even tried path like .env, secret.json, wp-admin

and when you send an email saying i opt out here's my domain name stop sending me stuff they say duh just block us

like bruh that's not my task to block you

just stop sending shit

Yeah, and people wonder why cloudflare got so big

you can also setup CrowdSec to block known bad IPs

or here where the bro literally threw his wordlist
why can't the internet just be nice

well

kind fable

at some point i'll have to run a hidden service that i'll have to give to trusted people and make it spread organically to be sure not be spammed

kind nimbus
#

oh cool i just saw Caddy has a crowdsec module

kind fable
#

oh also i don't talk about that time where i had a 90GB log becaus someone was spamming so hard they managed to DoS me

#

i literally ran out of fd

now because i'm not stupid i had my own ways to be sure i could still enter

but man

yet

also log rotation is annoying

now i have the magic trick of "> log"

in my case what i'll try to do is hook up logrotate or idk journald

my last experience with autorouting was determined to... just not use vias and i still don't know why

@tragivictoria @thomholwerda I wouldn't be so sure. See the LAS talk, appd is a Flatpak v1 thing, we quite literally say so.

But it's all entirely completely moot to talk about when we haven't written a single line of code. Frankly before the Fedi dog pile I was planning to be super considerate of the non systemd use case. But I just saw someone literally accusing us of being Lunduke allies.

So pardon me but I'm not feeling inclined to spend my time on that shit anymore. Not worth it

there are pro-lunduke and anti-lunduke people on both sides of systemd vs anti-systemd debate
