that's the point

sick owl
#

So, just played through the opening street scene of re requiem doing some benchmarking

#

Mostly very impressive except

#

Its another game where you have to pick your own flavour of noise/ghosting

#

In ray tracing surfaces have smeary ghost trails and noisy reflections

#

In path tracing you get boiling issues in some scenes but the image is more stable overall albeit much blurrier

#

And in said PT mode you have to pick between DLSS balanced with frame gen to smooth out drops down to 55 fps or DLSS performance on a 4090

#

I went balanced with frame gen but neither is ideal

#

(this is at 4k)

#

There's always raster of course but it has shitty low res cubemap reflections and a tonne of reflections and lighting effects present on the other modes are just missing so you miss out on the artistic intent, its clearly an afterthought

#

Its incredibly annoying having to choose between three suboptimal graphical modes

#

The world needs less of these Cyberpunk 2077s and more Doom The Dark Ages

Though admittedly its not as bad in Cyberpunk as it is here and in UE5 titles like Silent Hill 2 Remake

ASUS Dismisses Apple’s MacBook Neo as ‘Just a Tablet’

Despite the competitive threat, Hsu argued that the MacBook Neo could have limited appeal. He pointed to the laptop's 8GB of "unified memory," or what amounts to its RAM, and how customers can't upgrade it.

He also described the MacBook Neo as a “content consumption” device, similar to an iPad. “This is different from the use case of a mainstream notebook," which can handle more compute-intensive tasks, Hsu said.

its divisible by 1000100010001

#

1000100010001 is divisible by 17

sage crag
#

if you let the 4 digit part be x, then the 16 digit number is
x*10^12 + x*10^8 + x*10^4 + x
= x(10^12 + 10^8 + 10^4 + 1)

and it so happens that the numeric part is divisible by 17

you can call it a coincidence if you want, i wouldnt consider it one though

Hey everyone. I have an idea but am not too good at coding. I want to share it just in case someone else likes it and thinks they could use it for Neuro. So you know how we have the Neuro SDK? I saw dougdoug try making music in a DAW/app that lets you make music in JavaScript. I can code but not too well, I’m more of a game dev. So yah, if anyone wants that idea I’d love to see that project shared on here allowing neuro to try and make scuff music like how she draws! It would be great! Have a good night everyone and AI’s!
