Depending on if you're fine with worse performance more easily you can do OpenGL or if you're feeling like pain but want the best performance possible, Vulkan is an option (it's way more complex than OpenGL)

anyone worked streaming video chunks in js (not via webrtc but prioritizing quality and streaming asynchronously?) Probelm is i had to start stop the MediaRecorder API inorder to generate header data again and again because my files are broken. Basically goal is to store the blobs generated by a client's media recorder properly on the server on different files (not appended on the same file) so that the order of how the blobs arrive in dont matter because the video can be 2-3 hours large, in bad internet connections the video blobs can arrive in different orders so if i append to same file it can get corrupted but making different files is bad because i dont get header data each blob so the files are unseekable/corrupted. Just wondering if anyone did something similar not trying to debug anything (streaming video asyncly and storing it durably)

Uhhh, don't abuse IndexedDB for large blob if possible. You can use OPFS (Origin-private filesystem), it supports writing in chunk from webworker

If you do not need realtime feature, then a simple chunk counter will do. During operation, you store the media record in a local buffer and a counter that tracks how many chunk have successfully transferred. You can then safely remove the old buffer, and when the connection is flaky, nothing would need to change since you're always writing to the local buffer anyway. See producer-consumer pattern

But the problem with that is there is real-time prioritisation in that so the bitrate is low the resolution and fps falls. This system I'm trying to build gives priority to resolution and sacrifice delay.

Ahh, I misunderstood it then. If what you said is true, then the client/sender should be fine. You should try and log the packet on both to make sure that all data arrives and check the ordering

A good way to test it is reading a pre-recorded file as byte-stream so it can act like a media recorder

Before sending a req I do stop recorder, increment the 2d array index (each row is filled with blobs and one send to server empties the entire row garuanteed) then start recorder with the timeslice. Perhaps when I stop recorder, it adds an extra blob to the buffer but it should be OK cuz then when j start the header is added to the blob in the next row. So each row that corresponds to a server file theoretically should have the header data
