Basically one of the LGS' i go to has a tournement once a month where the budget for everyones deck is $100
I went last month and got stomped since i had never been to one before and discovered almost everyone was playing Izzet combo with Vadrik at the helm. I could easily build that but i want to be different so im trying Rowan, Here is the deck list https://moxfield.com/decks/_9QZ4oxr-Um_Z0qrYXefNg
Any suggestions for the deck or a rating would be nice

there are VERY specific ways to get yourself to lose life for a kill and the consistency dont seems to be there

there are many options but without drawing like 2-3 cards per turn, not only will i run out of resources, i will also have the wrong part of my deck and unable to do anything
i would also not run [[!supernatural stamina]] nor [[!fake your own death]] here

as they need to target a creature, preferable a creature you control and own
while your total creature count is 13 without commander
similar problem with [[!burnt offering]] lose a creature with cmc (low creature count) losing a thing on board AND a card in hand -2 card advantage

while i dont think you will miss too many land drops, the 38 basics seems like a recipe to get flooded. so i think the deck is running into some problem tbh. Servere issues at hand to run a smooth game

with interaction it can go like turn 7 or so

an engine that let you pay 39 life, getting on rowan on curve, expecting no removal, tap rowan for X = reduce by 39 and untapped mana for at least 40 for the kill on the tap

haha, white being unpopular isnt surprising and i am very much fine with that as a rakdos player who hate white
one well timed counterspell usually stops those turbo decks so its hard to say without seeing it in action. simic has lot of BS value engine
