I've build this deck for a friend for his birthday and when I was making it and goldfished it, I honestly started to actually want to make this deck for myself as well. However knowing me, I want to make sure that I can, at the very least, polish the edges down a bit since this was the first time I've ever actually made a green deck. What do you guys suggest?

i.e. cut Splendid Reclamation for Scapeshift, cut Mightform Harmonizer for Scythecat Cub/Bristly Bill, add tarkir/zendikar fetches, etc.

It’s seems solid. A great birthday gift. What is the problems your seeing?

Honestly, I just need to find a way to knock it up a bracket

#

Like I said, I want to make this deck for myself and how I want to do that is to turn this bracket 3 list into a bracket 4 list

#

I'm already getting a commanders plate and I traded a hexing squelcher i opened for a shadowspear from tmnt

We could look into speeding up the deck. I think cutting down the mana curve might be something. Superstate and Ancient Greenwarden might be efficient but slow. Maybe they could be switched out for a card like [[Primal Bellow]]. [[Life from the loam]] could synergize with your graveyard support. [[Mark of Sakiko]] or another option for an early burst of mana

I’m trying to think of potential lines to create a T4-T5 kill/win. I imagine an early pump spell and some way to capitalize on that high power creature. Then you could play some of those higher mana spells

i dont like pump spells as much because they are worth less power than a land entering double power

#

but under the condition with limited landfall triggers or just for that initial burst of power, pump spell is more efficient than a land drop

#

[[tifa's limit break]] is something i though of buying but never find the deck for it

this is like one of the few example of what pump spell can beat the double power trigger

#

i like [[exponential growth]] as a janky win con in a power matter deck but i think at 8 mana, it is just overcosted

#

if anything, i've been winning with a golgari jank deck that runs it mostly because no one expect the weird stuff i put in, that convert 8-10 power into lethal out of nowhere

#

by itself, and with a telegraphed win con makes it worse

i consider it to be resources management, pump spells are single use, which means there wont be anything left for the next person

#

so if it is purely landfall, i think there are all those 2 drop that all put +1 counters such as [[roaring earth]] and alike; but there are also not enough of those in the game to make it consistent so it kinda depends

idk the exact limit in mono green for that matter

#

if its about going full voltron, one turn one shot, perhaps the all eggs in one basket pump spell will do

#

if there are going to be any follow up on a later turn, whenever it is playstyle, avoiding potential king making, not knock out one player and make him sit out the rest of the hour etc, i can see pump spell being significantly worse for that

#

i think hexoproof is the most important pump to avoid losing everything on attack

Would recommend adding in Guild less Commons and Arid Archway in the land slots. Ideally, always have it bounce itself unless you need mana so you can always have a land to trigger landfall every turn.
[[Witch's clinic]] would be the other land I would include to just increase your sustaining power in a game with the life gain

big fan of [[ordeal of nylea]] on tifa

obviously better if you have other ways to put counters on her otherwise it's quite slow but mono green has options there

#

oh it's already there, i missed it

#

thats a fun one when it works, i wish i can set it off turn 2 in my decks but i have never drew both pieces

I'm sorry for not responding sooner, I got caught up with school

#

oof I misread

#

i mean maybe?

Land — Desert
This land enters tapped.
When this land enters, return a land you control to its owner's hand. If another Desert was returned this way, surveil 1. (Look at the top card of your library. You may put it into your graveyard.)
manat: Add manacmanac.

why have 1 player removal when have 3? lmao

#

Greenwarden though does seem like a win-more card so I might cut that

Jungle basin unfortunately doesn't work the same cause it has to bounce an untapped forest, so you go mana down for the turn, and can't repeat bounce it to keep triggers going

interesting

#

I didn't read untapped mb

Life from the loam, crucible of worlds,. These would help immensely.

#

You wanna go up to B-4 right?

#

Whats your budget for game changers?\
