Goal was to mimic Salubrius Snail’s Radha shell:

I wanted to fulfill my inner Timmy and just play big creatures and ramp. Went with mono-green to really seal the Timmy deal. Torgal helps steer the direction by peppering in some Dog/Wolf/Human spice into the mix.

  • 2MV Mana Dork Commander
  • 20+ 4MV Ramp spells (a la Explosive Vegetation effects)
  • The rest are big dummies that have various draw, protection, removal stapled on them.

Ideally plays like this:
T1 - land
T2 - land, play Torgal
T3 - land, play 4MV Ramp spell
T4 - land, have 7ish mana to work with

Looking for suggestions on other big dummies with good effects stapled on!

being both a 7 drop and a 3 drop make its "cost" much lower than something that can be a dead card in some case

flexible modal cards are some of the best quality cards you can pick from for that reason

I have about 20 4mv ramp and 40 lands so chances i get/mull for 3 lands and ramp in opening hand is p good

Goal is consistent turn 3 ramp into 6+ mana turn 4
