Hi all, first deck I have made since starting magic 4 months ago. I have added cards into considering based on Aura recursion.

The two games I won with this deck have been because of the Auras. Wondering if I should drop equipment and go heavy Auras or just drop a few cards for the considering. Looking to stay budgetish with 150usd total

Still new so any feedback I welcome.

Welcome to the game and your list looks pretty good already! You've got a theme, an understandable wincon, and plenty of interaction.

It seems like you've already started to clue into this concept, but focusing your theme into one specialization (instead of splitting your cards across auras, equipment, and exalted creatures) can allow you to leverage that specialization to a greater degree and generally make your deck more consistent. As an example, if you draw a bunch of exalted creatures and Thran Power Suit, the suit feels pretty useless. Similarly if Sublime Archangel is the only creature. Powerful cards that are underutilized because the deck's strategy is split trying to do too many things at once.

(As a small aside, it is totally fine to have a deck with split strategies if that's what you enjoy. Don't let internet strangers like me bully you into thinking that there's only one way to build a deck)

To get a little more specific about your idea of leaning into the auras plan: it's a great idea! My brother plays a Rafiq aura's list that is terrifyingly fast. Auras tend to be these really powerful effects because they're inherently risky (if the creature they're enchanting dies, you end up losing multiple cards), so a lot of aura decks play hexproof creatures like [[invisible stalker]], [[silhanna ledgewalker]], or [[slippery bogle]]. Indeed, this strategy of suiting up a small hexproof creature with a ton or auras is commonly called "bogles". Combine these difficult to kill creatures and powerful auras with a few aura related draw engines like [[sythis]] or [[setessan champion]] and you've got a deck that can really pack a punch! Or two punches if Rafiq is out haha.

There's also totally unique ways you could build around exalted or equipment if you decide that's the strategy you enjoy the most. I just suggested these ideas as you mentioned the auras.
