I'm having a blast playing the Magus Lucea Kane list, but the deck doesn't feel super streamlined. I'm looking for suggestions for win cons, speed-ups, and generally stuff that's is going to make the deck smoother. Thanks for your thoughts! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/xL7tlkZXQEeQxWNFUyP8lQ

I think your list may feel more streamlined if you swap out some of the cards that rely too heavily on your commander to be good. It can often feel like the deck is "clunky" when you feel obligated to play cards in a specific order to be any good; and when you're running a removal magnet like Lucea Kane, this can be a vulnerability. Things like Goblin Offensive and Multiple Choice just don't do enough on their own to be impactful. Instead, I think you could prioritize some one mana elves to ramp quickly and a few more draw payoffs like [[garruk's uprising]]. You could also get cute with untapping effects in the likes of [[patriar's seal]] to get additional copies of things
Enchantment
When Garruk's Uprising enters the battlefield, if you control a creature with power 4 or greater, draw a card.
Creatures you control have trample. (They can deal excess combat damage to the player or planeswalker they're attacking.)
Whenever a creature with power 4 or greater enters the battlefield under your control, draw a card.
I also might suggest cutting one or two of your haste enablers because the effect doesn't stack so drawing multiples are effectively dead draws (Fervor and Fires aren't as good as the other two in this style of deck)
Thank you for your thoughts! You make some really good points and I’ll definitely be following your advice regarding some of the more copy-dependent spells. I had some untap stuff in there initially but it seemed like it would make more sense to tap out on the big spells that are copied instead of trying to split focus on two spells/turn. I didn’t really consider that you could double tap Lucea to put an additional copy of her ability in play for the SAME spell, it make stuff like [[kiora’s follower]] much more interesting…
oooh hell yeah! great idea!
[[Magewright’s Stone]]
[[Minamo, School at Waters Edge]]
[[Puppet Strings]]
[[Thousand Year Elixir]]
Out of those ones, I think the elixir is the only one I personally would run as it serves multiple purposes. Miami is also definitely really good, but also a lot $$$
: Add one mana of any color.
