Hi all
I got Rodolf in a Jumpstart pack so I thought to build him into a mono black lifegain with death triggers. It was fun as I got all the table to 4 lifes but then I was annihilated. I want to build a better mono black because I think he is more suited in an Orzhov deck with his colors and his abilities to resurrect.
I don't play Orzhov that much so I did some researches - some cards comes from a youtube channel others from my own collections - and ended up with a list which seems functional and it's budget enough.
I am not gonna build it but I though it could be nice and I would like to have your suggestions to make it more powerful while keeping it cheap!

Rinse and repeat.

The strategy here is quite simple:
initially create play small creatures and start to build some token, then put down your sac outlets - everything that says "Sacrifice a creature" or similar and gain value both...

gray merchant of asphodel,** angel of the ruins**, noxious gearhulk and sun titan are big utility creature to reanimate with your commander

thanks. i forgot about daxos, it could be a nice addition. also gray merchant is a staple - i don't know why i left it out, maybe because i was more looking for token engines. [[Angel of the ruin]] is an excellent suggestion as well. ProfChamp

also here a couple of suggestion for your manabase skyclave cleric, sejiri shelter and makindi stampede are spells that can be used as lands if needed and can be slotted in your land count.
radiant fountain seraph sanctuary and vault of the archangel will help you gain some life

thanks for the fountain and the sanctuaary and vault, those are really nice addition. I find the land/spells a little lackluster, they're just small tricks that I tend to use when really necessary. the shelter is the best one but on that set the really good option are other colors for those lands. still i added the shelter as an extra protection, thanks for pointing it out
