I've put together the rough shape of a wurm tribal deck with Baru Wurmspeaker. I know it's the most optimal commander/tribe, but I'd like to try and make this work. I normally never play mono green w/high CMC, so is this deck too slow? Any thoughts or suggested adds/cuts (need to make at least 2 cuts) would be great.

This is so cool I didn't know wurm tribal could exist
I don't have suggestions because commander is so far out of my wheelhouse but this has an A+ for creativity
Haha well thanks! My very first deck I played when I was a kid 20+ yrs ago was a (terrible) wurms deck, so as soon as I saw the new Baru I knew what I had to do
You do NOT want Farseek, because this is a mono green deck and Farseek only grabs not-Forests. Instead play either [[Three Visits]] or [[Skyshroud Claim]].
Also a bit surprised you chose not to play either [[Crush of Wurms]] or [[Roar of the Wurm]], as one is a one-card board late-game twice, and the other one is a fairly-costed Wurm the first time and a cheap AF Wurm the second time.
This is a great call. I definitely didn't catch that. Have a Skyshroud so I'll add that instead. Thank you
I considered Crush of Wurms, but I was already pretty concerned with the overall curve of my deck and already being so top-heavy with high mana creatures. Figured leaning into trying to use Baru's ability multiple times a turn was a better card investment.
And thank you for the advice!
Of course! As far as cuts, I think Colossal Majesty is actually weak draw in this deck. You have loads of ways to draw multiple cards a turn, so a spell that only draws one card (and only when you fulfill the same type of conditions that would also trigger your other conditional card draw anyway) seems unimportant here.
