Definitely a S rank invention. Inventions are usually good when they are actually used a lot rather than only used once because of curiosity. For example, trying out a 1$ tiktok product invention. Cars are widely used globally and is a vehicle that has more benefits than regular bikes, for example AC, providing roof protection, and harder to topple.

From logistics , to commute , to all different means and motives of transportation , cars are the most important invention , saving both time and comfort for everyone .
It also facilitates alot of jobs , contributing to the employment for careers such as mechanics , engineers , petroleum engineers , drivers , automation engineers ...
It is truly an amazing part of our evolution.

Although cars are incredibly important to our society as a whole, they should only be ranked A tier rather than S tier. First of all, cars undoubtedly improve transportation in our daily lives, but this comes at a detrimental cost, the world slowly dies due to the immense contribution of CO2 emissions from each and every vehicle. Additionally, there are plenty of other ways to minimize these devastating carbon emissions ranging from taking a more walkable or bike-able approach to your life or utilizing public transportation such as buses and trains to mitigate the negative effects from the creation of cars. Everything considered, cars unarguably provide great benefits and create tremendous efficiency in our daily lives, but this comes at a significant consequence making them only ranked A tier.

Well it was not that hard of invention specially when the focus was on making more profit, which caused "The Impact of Leaded Gasoline" in the U.S which affected the sanity of childrens and affected the overall IQ in the US. So the inventiok lead to many inconvenience, though we can't forget all the positive stuffs but it is also negatively affecting us so IMO not all types of cars can be included in the top inventions list. The basic model was a good startup invention to work on but now the eco friendly cars takes the place of the gasoline ones.
