Is there any way you can decrease your skill fails in surgery?

I kept on failing on the 6% fails even though I have an exquisite bone saw, and tea equipped, I can't even do my Surg quest because I kept on having multiple skill fails back to back.

It's so annoying having to waste so many resources, and my money is so limited

It is possible to minimize the chance of skills fails as much as possible (stethoscope, skill spice, bonesaw/nano nurse), but the fails are still going to happen and there will be surgeries that are basically auto-failed by the system, with there being nothing that the player could have done. Just have to accept thats how this minigame works.
