the little mermaid. and no i am not talking about the story itself. instead, the message behind this fairytale is more valuable and it is something i wish people could listen to. the little mermaid had wanted to become more like a human to walk on land instead of swimming in the sea, and so she traded her voice to gain human legs and feet (replacing her fish tail). i guess the mermaid gained something she wanted but also lost something very important- her voice. you can take away two morals of this story: one of them being that your voice is very powerful and you shouldn't discredit it, and two, you're perfect just the way you are :)

I have a similar one to one that was said: Aladdin but not just cuz of the three wishes thing but flying carpets would be such a nice way to get around. Plus imagine the reduction on carbon emissions?? plus the whole talking animals? say less
