Rn I'm watching steins gate, it's really interesting. It's about a mad scientist and time travel. It's really hard to explain, but i assure it's interesting, also first ep will leave you with a lot of questions, so you have to watch at least until ep 2 to start understanding things.

Attack of titan is really good, it's about a civilization living within walls, and there are these monsters called titans, that they basically kill. It is an interesting anime with a lot of action and some politics (not the modern kind).

Sword art online - there are many haters and many who absolutely love it, so you have to decide yourself if it's either good or not (i personally love it). It's about people being trapped inside a VRMMORPG (at least the first season is, but overall it's about VRMMOs)
