Its actually one of the most enjoyable romcoms i've seen in a long time cuz most of them are filled to the brim with cliches and the premise of Horimiya intrigued me for a series that started as a webcomic like 14 years ago.

It has character designs that is pretty unique also and i found it nice

some people said that the show is pretty shallow when its comes to the actual thing Horimiya is going for like Miyamura copping with his past and something like that

I actually found it very interesting that they decided to adapt the final chapter of horimiya that hasnt been published yet so, probably 5-6 months b4 the publication of the final chapter they already know how will it end and thats nice

kinda sucks that if you are planning on reading the manga the gap between episode 12 -> episode 13 is intentionally large like they skipped around 90 chapters? because in those 90 chapters its just school life and sol without nothing really happening substantial

horimiya as a manga could be finished in only 3 years instead of 9 if you remove the sol + school life story that happens between the confession that they gonna get married and them graduating

To be honest i found the supporting characters in Komi-san to be annoying, for the worse i feel like they are introduced to further stray Komi and Tadano. Everyone of them has this personality that really clashes when Tadano even tries to do anything romantic with Komi especially when they introduced the Gyaru girl who totally make it so Tadano cant do anything with Komi. I feel like the people b4 the anime adapt are saying "Oh this needs to be an anime" because of Komi alone and not how good the plot is, yeah she cute I know that's how she is designed but if you judge it critically its cringe. Artstyle of the anime is pretty unique, for a weekly series they made the characters feel low effort but at the same time iconic, there are times that they actually have effort in key scenes like for example Komi's reaction to Tadano's confession, the author spiced it up pretty good but for normal scenes its either chibi with people with big pupils or normal scenes with big eyes but small pupils like Tadano's normal eyes feels like just a dot in a big circle. The series is at best a slice of life series with an ensemble cast and a very mild romance at first, even I didnt know that Tadano is gonna confess to Komi as a special for the series announcing a anime adapt and it reaching chp 300, every reader is waiting for this moment. Imagine if you are a Kanokari reader then the cool author actually made Kazuya confess to Chizuru, that would probably be the feel you would be experiencing right now because both series have seen stretching of plot so they could avoid going out. Overoll is it good? Probably sure, at least you know that they are finally together which is a great motivation to read it but some new readers might fear the 300 chps but most of them isnt even that long, its a weekly series. Its not going to be 20-30 pages a chapter lmao. Hyping for the anime though, I wonder where they will left it off because I havent seen any good way points for it to end satisfyingly.

Mushoku Tensei is reguarded by some to be cornerstone of the isekai genre, it has given birth to such iconic shows with the genre of a man reincarnated to a different world, a good way for the people of japan that is a vicitim of overwork to fantasize about "what would happen if i werent here and in a different place". I'm more of a slice of life more, action lesser so after reading the webnovel entirely, all volumes within 2 and a half weeks I could say that this series ruffled up my feathers. The story is about a reincarnated man but regained his memories of his past life, usually in these types of anime the guy start of as his normal age but in this story aging actually occur with everyone turning mature and old as time passes and I think this is what we dont usually get with series because even in long volume ones, there isnt even a hint of age progression which I think sucks. I'm here to justify the lewd scenes in the series, its in your face that the guy is le hrony and do prevnt things even as a toddler but if you think of it, as a 40 year old man that is trapped in his home, poor, jkin off to anime girls and then reincarnated to a different world with no rules and you could start at square 1, you feel like that yo I want to do things that I couldnt do before.
