Because the tank needs to be "initialized" for you to link it, it doesn't have an invetory attached to it otherwise

Yea I figured it out
I’ve never used them, but my teammate said they weren’t working when crafting in AE, so I thought I’d help him submit a bug report

By the way, do Compact Machines get deleted after a certain amount of time if they haven’t been entered? I deleted a lot of them weeks ago, so does their data persist forever, or what? I used the trash can, by the way. Same question applies to Tank Storage Tanks, just out of curiosity 👀
