replace the neoforge version and modpack url in the server starter yaml
launch as normal

I already have the new server pack, I just don't know what files to move to not lose anything

if you changed any config values, you will need to redo that after
if you added mods, same thing

oh, you have to delete the .lock file after editing the yaml or it wont try to redownload

oh I forgot it doesn't download the new version... do I just have to startup this whole server under 1.4.1 to get the new neoforge version?

Or what version is it running, can I just go download it and replace it & rename it

once you replace the 2 lines in the yaml (or replace the yaml), deleting the lock file will make the next normal startup redownload the modpack files including the neoforge version listed in the yaml (it wont remove world, playerdata, etc)
