#Need to launch 5-10 times or more before the aof6 modpack starts working.

Hey I'm also on Mint and have been getting the same error. Have you found any fix?
The most I've seen is switching LWJGL from 3.3.1 to 3.2.2 but then it crashes for a different reason (looks like there's a bunch of mods that aren't happy with the older version?) :/
I think people have had more success going the other way—compile and use the newest LWJGL.
Searching this discord or google should turn up detailed instructions on how to do that.
I found some methods to using new glfw versions but I couldn’t understand the instructions cuz I’m new to Linux
^ personally couldn’t understand them but u should give them a try
I’m not sure what did it, but the game appears to be much more stable now
The biggest change I made was updating to nvidia closed drivers 530 (open just straight up didn’t recognize my dedicated GPU 💀)
I also switched from FTB Chunks to Xaero’s which has significantly reduced stuttering
Oh. Mb u had a different issue then. I use integrated intel graphics and that’s recognized
I just get stack smashing errors. But once the game starts it runs perfectly
Yeah
Yeahno I did too
And the only solution I’ve heard is to compile LWJGL from source
Should be. I only installed Linux a few days before getting Minecraft
But I updated to 530 last night and I haven’t had issues booting up the modpack
Hmm
Oh and I switched from PolyMC to Pri..sm? What the hell is the other one called
How do I even do this.
Which in turn re-downloaded all the 1.19.3 files which worked out bc 1.19.3 got borked in the process of me updating everything
I used both at launcher and prism. Both had the same issues
Honestly I am not the person to ask lmfao
Never hurts to do a quick sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade and flatpak update
Well I kinda half gave up for now after asking in multiple places
?
I’m extremely new to this stuff so idk that’s possible
Open your terminal
Type “sudo apt update” then enter
Put in your password
That cmd will update your list of software so your computer knows which version is most recent and, by extension, what needs to be upgraded
Then, once that’s done, if anything is out-of-date, it’ll say how many things are so
How would i upgrade them?
Then “sudo apt upgrade” will do the actual upgrading
Wth. This terminal code seems stupid simple sometimes and other times so confusing
Note, that’ll only do it for everything you have installed via apt (default for Mint), you should also run a quick “flatpak update” in case anything you have installed via flatpak is out-of-date
Commands* but yes
For the most part, doing simple things like installing and updating things is quite easy
Hell, even compiling can sometimes be bitch easy (literally just changing the directory then smth like “cmake”) but it heavily depends on what you’re compiling
I used to use iOS for everything. So it’s a big learning curve. Pls forgive
Lmao dw
I use an iPhone too
If you ever have any questions, don’t hesitate to shoot me a quick dm, I’ll respond when I can
I’m not an expert, but I can def help you acclimatize
Oh thank you so much
