PG13 covers quite a lot of content. no, you cant explicitly describe things. That said, i understand the desire to talk to other adults...and I agree, private calls or private servers exist specifically to let you talk to the folks you want to talk to.

If i go into a vc after a day of work not knowing if there's a kid in it and start talking about my job and say "Fuck work", i don't need someone immediately reprimanding me for strong language because there's a minor in it, i've had it done twice already and it's annoying...it's maturity related and honestly worse things are said in the in-game chat that those kids are exposed to and most of it is coming from the kids themselves....it's the maturity level i was suggesting for it

Absolutely not. This not my intention. Nor will it ever be. If I really wanted to use xxx stuff on a server, I have my own, private discord. But you are absolutely correct, age has nothing to do with maturity, like suggesting or accusing someone of wanting to use inappropriate language on a public server when the intention is not so. An 18+ vc would does not mean xxx.

I thought this was a suggestion, not a debate or criticism channel. The points being made for things like private calls or using another server is understandable for privacy of adult conversations, but not everyone is comfortable with doing so. My friend is only asking for a channel that would allow adult conversation, that is not xxx like you are insinuating here @halcyon karma . My suggestion is to get more clarity on what the individual would like before jumping to conclusions and creating a hostile environment. Bam, I apologize for overstepping if I have, but I feel like you have been let down by the community on what should be a friendly suggestion only to be met by predetermined insinuations and immoral chats.

It would be more of a consequence if the actions of the adults were to be heard by children on the server and reflect negatively on the server itself. It wouldn't me the parents of the kids are mad at or try to sue, it would be the server owners. Instead of trying to be right, why not try to be reasonable. A suggestion is just that, a suggestion. Your input is your opinion that lacks reason and shows speculation of what I truly wished for with system such as this. You, maam, are the immature one. Enjoy your day.

It's not segregation. It's giving more choices to people. Now this turning into a debate on a suggestions channel. Instead of simply stating a yes or no with a reasonable description as to why it's a yes or no, you instead insinuated what kind of channel I wanted with the the kind of content I wished to speak about. Instead of owning up to your mistake of accusing me of wanting degenerate topics to be in a private chat, you are now on the attack of me and, again, what you think I am doing. You never once asked what it is I wanted. You never once tried to come to a reasonable outcome. You jumped straight to "you want xxx content on a public server". That's childish and immature. But you can keep trying on deaf ears because you are being blocked. Again, enjoy your day maam. I have no more time for an unreasonable adult who wants to boost her presence in a server and can't even be bothered with reason.

So let me get this straight, you swore in a PG-13 community, got called out for it, then asked for a private R-rated room because being called out for it offended you so much. After being told that it was a community splitting idea and that discord has plenty of alternatives and solutions for this you got so fixated on me accusing you of wanting XXX (which is what 18+ channels on public discords are generally used for/indication of being open to dating) that you ignore all the reasons why this is a bad idea, then try and sugar-coat segregation with "giving people choices. " As if limiting other people's choices doesn't matter.

This wasn't a "suggestion". This was you wanting to make this happen as you're still trying to sugarcoat the suggestion despite the alternatives offered up and you're gaslighting against why it's a bad idea.

Age based discrimination in a place where it's not needed makes children feel a lot more unwelcome, than it comforts you. If you can't accept that fact, then it's obvious where your priorities lie.
