#Changing EMPATH guidelines

As we all know, the last thing BOTC Unofficial server is known for, is the friendly atmosphere supporting learning, mistakes, and facilitating that new players will stay here enjoying themselves. I started to wonder: How can we change that? How can we improve that gloomy situation? I've came up with genius idea: We don't! We embrace it even more! Internet culture is created is such a way, that no matter how much we try, we are only going to act upon most outlandish cases, left to wonder what to do with more nebulous ones. BOTC, being a social deduction game, facilitates that environment even more! As we all know, lack of emotional intelligence is just a fancy term of saying "I cannot control my behavior.". The more attentive reader would ask themselves one question now: What are you suggesting to implement those outlandish revolutionary concepts into life? Quite simple. I am proposing to implement new set of EMPATH guidelines (preferably also a sticker) because as we all know, illusion of change is easier to implement, makes us feel better that we made a change, and we as a community can physically show that we are at least pretending we doing something. Those new guidelines (according to me) should look like this:
1.Everyone knows what your token is
Let’s start with the obvious: everyone possess the same knowledge that I do. For every person that doesn't, I perceive them as someone who is WAY LESS intelligent than me. So, it is perfectly fine to be frustrated if someone is not able to extrapolate what my role is, or understand fully my actions. I think publicly shaming such individuals is a good start. Maybe we can make some form of system punishment for that kind of players?

2.Main target of malicious behavior is always only you
Let's state another important fact: You are the most important person in the entire universe. The only logical conclusion from that point is: Everyone is jealous of that privileged position, because they are not the most awesome person in the entire universe (You). What will they try to do about it? Answer is, as per usual, very simple: everything in their power. Everyone is out there to get you. Stay strong and fight off the same way they do. Everything is on a table. The stronger the response (I mean, of course, negative one), the more effective we were.
3.Physically impossible is for your actions to matter
One may wonder that this point contradicts the previous one. One can argue: Hey, if you are the most important person in the universe, how does your actions do not matter at all? Do not fear! As stated previously, goal of everyone but you is to make you as miserable as it is physically possible. Have you ever watched “The Truman Show”? This is basically what is happening. Universe is constructed to be a big torture chamber designed for you. There is no point in trying. Learn the most liberating thing in your life: helplessness.
4.Assume the worst intentions from everyone (especially if they vote on you!)
As we previously established, everyone around you is here to get you. The point of interacting with you is to stop interacting with you. That means one thing and one thing only: Every negative interaction with human being you have, it was completely intentional. That is liberating in some very weird sense. You can be offensive and aggressive towards them too! Pretty cool? Dictionary definition of double edged sword!

5.There are two ways to play clocktower: mine and wrong
As a perfect and optimized human being you are, you have figured out how the game works. You established guiding principles, which like a wise old mentor would guide you through stormy seas which that game is. Everyone daring to disobey your sacred text is deemed lesser person and should be hunted with passion and diligence. That should teach them a lesson.
6.Heuristic, that defines your worth as a person and clocktower player is how many games you won
BOTC is allegedly "social deduction game". I agree with that statement partially. It is a social game, in the same way chess is. You are playing against enemy team and everyone else in the game. Your most important metric deciding your decision making should be "will that action result in me winning?". If the answer is yes, do not hesitate. Making someone intentionally annoyed to see how they react? Go for it. Making a tantrum on a block because voting on you is pinnacle of stupidity and outing evil. Your voice is the most important one. Remember that fact during all your games. Everyone is avoiding you? Great, you will either play only with unsuspecting victims or people on your level. Either way, using this method you are guaranteed to play only in good games. Way to go!
In my humble opinion, if we were to make a shift in that direction on this server, I am way more than sure a lot of changes would happen immediately. Also, to address everyone worried about posting that very serious suggestion in suggestion thread, I will hastefully answer that me, the court jester voice of reason would like to point out that existence of serious tag implies existence of space for unserious ones on daily basis. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
