Three separate minions that modify outsider count is an interesting move.

The Fang Gu + Ogre combination allows for a +2 evils on a script (since the Fang Gu could jump to the outsider who isn't the evil Ogre), which, if I understand correctly, is generally frowned upon.

  • gossip is immensely strong without more positive deathmod, as an extra kill only happens when you execute an outsider
  • a zombuul without the kill restriction is also immensely strong
  • town crier is sad about that bootlegger much more than a flowergirl
  • Fool is pretty darn unbluffable
  • lots of o-mod isn't inherently bad but this seems excessive

Virgin works best with spy on script like in tb so it only hard confirms one player, it's still ok, just really strong

I don't think Homebrewed Zombuul works:

Zombuul's design philosophy is a compromise:

  • Evil team gets to have the Demon be executed once.
  • Good team gets to avoid night deaths unless they don't get a kill in the day

The homebrew removes the downside of the compromise while keeping the super powerful upside, leaving the homebrewed Zombuul unworkable in my eyes.

Xaan + Baron is a weird combination where either the Baron does actually nothing or it's much much harder to solve if it's a Xaan game.

If you really want normal Zombuul, I would add a DA here and replace Gossip with another day-death-prevention townsfolk.

Now you've got a fun engine where DA prevents death in the day allowing for extra zombuul kills and godfather adds extra deaths in the night, masking zombuul nothingburgers. 😃

Yep makes sense.

Just a tentative idea here, that if you replace Godfather with Assassin you keep the total control over outsider numbers through the Xaan while giving evil more control over night deaths. The biggest concern about that to me is that it might make the script too close to Bad Moon Rising, but Godfather is already a BMR role.
